Amazon is delivering for Prime members at fastest speeds ever
Amazon hit its fastest Prime delivery speeds ever so far this year in the USA and around the world, with more than 5 billion items arriving the same or next day globally. This is an increase of more than 30% year over year.
Amazon accelerating delivery speeds are helping both Prime members and sellers, with the majority of these five billion items delivered on behalf of sellers who usedFulfillment by Amazon.
Amazon achieved faster speeds by focusing on three key initiatives:
Expanding Same-Day Delivery network so Amazon can get products to customers even quicker, with Same-Day Delivery in more than 120 USA metro areas.
Shortening the distance Amazon deliveries have to travel to reach customers by regionalizing fulfillment network.
Leveraging advanced machine learning algorithms to predict product demand and improve Amazon inventory placement.
Amazon has been able to deliver vast selection of products at even faster speeds while continuing to improve safety. This was possible because Amazon’s employees and delivery partners who are picking, packing, and driving to customers’ houses are doing the exact same thing whether an order arrives the same day, next day, or in two days. The improvements in speed come primarily from regionalizing its network and placing products closer to customers.

Update to the Fund Withholding Policy page
Effective October 9, 2024, Amazon is updating the Fund Withholding Policy to complement recent changes Amazon released to Section 2 of the Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement to improve overall transparency around funds withholding. The main changes include the following:
Renaming the Funds Withholding policy to the “Funds Disbursement Eligibility policy.”
Improving the transparency of Amazon’s policy; including why Amazon maintains this policy, the steps sellers need to take in appealing for their disbursements, the steps Amazon takes when evaluating appeals; and examples of activities that may result in Amazon’s decision not to disburse in accordance with Section 2 of the Business Solutions Agreement. Amazon has also reduced the time within which sellers may appeal for their disbursements from 90 days to 60 days from the date of deactivation.

Run Subscribe & Save and Reorder coupons on the same ASIN
Amazon has heard your feedback, and you can now offer Subscribe & Save and Reorder coupons on an ASIN at the same time.
Until now, you were only able to offer one coupon per ASIN. If you scheduled two coupons with overlapping promotion periods, the most recently created coupon would be suppressed.
With this change, you can now offer both Subscribe & Save and Reorder coupons on an ASIN at the same time. For example, this change allows eligible customers to choose between applying a 10% off Reorder coupon to a one-time purchase or applying a 20% off Subscribe & Save coupon to a subscription on the same ASIN.
