In case you haven’t heard, BQool just launched the Conditional Repricer to take your Amazon business to a whole new level. As always, we’ve put together a list of major Amazon news in April, let’s catch up on the major updates from Amazon below.

I. Global FBA Inventory Dashboard

Seller Central => Inventory => Inventory Planning => Global FBA Inventory

There are 3 categories in the Global FBA Inventory Dashboard:

Out of stock but has historical demand: This alert is the number of FNSKUs that have no available inventory and no shipments en route to a fulfillment center but have shipped at least one unit in the last 30 days.

Low-stock risk (as of yesterday): For marketplaces where the restock feature is enabled, the alert identifies items for which the days of supply is less than the SKU’s send-in lead time.

Stranded units: When an FNSKU’s entire inventory is not available for purchase, it’s categorized as stranded.

• The Global FBA Inventory dashboard provides inventory-efficiency data and alerts for every marketplace. You can then review SKU-level details and create shipping plans or removal orders in the Global FBA Inventory tab. All dashboard data and alerts are refreshed daily.
• Storage monitor:Good indicates that your inventory storage is within your allocated limit. (Storage volume, not restock limits)

• Global FBA Inventory shows real-time inventory performance, supply, and demand information to help you manage your FBA products worldwide. On a single page, you can review real-time data for every SKU and marketplace, then create shipping plans or removal orders.
• All of the data is real time except for shipped units, days of supply, and sell-through, which are refreshed daily.
• Available in upstream storage: This column refers to units that are available for upstream storage, Amazon’s network of distribution centers. After you send us your inventory, we distribute it to US fulfillment centers.
  Upstream storage supports only single-SKU box storage. The following product types cannot be stored: heavy and bulky, dangerous goods, temperature controlled, perishable with an expiration date, non-sortable, shoes, and jewelry.

• Future supply buyable: The number of units for an FNSKU in shipments to a fulfillment center that are eligible for customers to order before the items arrive at the fulfillment center. Future supply buyable quantity is included in inbound quantity. For more information, visit our In-Stock Head Start page.
• Days of supply: The estimated number of days that your total supply for an FNSKU will last, based on the projected future demand. The value is daily refreshed. The total supply includes inbound quantity, Prime bin available quantity, FC transfer quantity, and future supply buyable quantity.
• Sell-through: The number of units sold and shipped over the past 90 days divided by the average number of units available at fulfillment centers during that time.

II. Updated Policy for Shipment of Dangerous Goods in Limited Quantities

Effective April 25, 2022, dangerous goods can no longer be shipped to US island destinations through FBA, even in limited quantities.

Starting on this date, you must use third-party shippers to ship dangerous goods to those destinations.

III.Update to EU and UK FBA Fulfilment Fees

Since the start of the pandemic, Amazon has significantly invested in Amazon’s store and fulfilment operations to better support you and our customers. In Europe, Amazon has more than doubled fulfilment capacity and opened more than 250 new fulfilment centers, sortation centers, regional air hubs and delivery stations.

These investments enabled tremendous growth for sellers, who have increased sales in our stores by more than 70% during this time.

Beginning May 12, Amazon will implement a fuel and inflation surcharge of 4.3% on top of our current Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) fulfilment fee per-unit rates in the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. In the UK, this will result in an average fulfilment fee increase of £0.10 per unit.

These changes to fees affect your business, and Amazon teams are working each and every day to ensure that FBA remains a great value for the premium fulfilment and delivery service that it provides. For that reason, Amazon has recently announced fee reductions and promotions and additional incentives on FBA New Selection.
