Request Amazon to Remove Negative Feedback
So you’ve received negative feedback. Obviously, you’re not a happy camper, but hey, it happens to even the best of sellers. It’s important to remain even-keeled through any adversity on Amazon and not overreact. You may even detect some feedback that are in violation and request Amazon to remove them. So when can you make a request for Amazon to remove feedback? Under these circumstances:
◆ If the feedback contains any profane or obscene language.
◆ If the feedback contains any promotional content, such as comments or external links to other merchants or links.
◆ If the feedback contains any personal information, such as an e-mail address, full name, telephone number, etc.
◆ If the entire feedback was, in fact, a product review. The review, however, will remain if it even remotely touches on seller service. For example, if a buyer said the book they bought from you was a poor reading, the feedback will be removed as it would be categorized as a product review. However, if the buyer said the book was a poor reading and delivery was slow, the feedback will remain, dissolving any grounds for removal.
◆ If the transaction was through Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA). Although the feedback will not be removed, it will not affect your overall rating, and a line attached to the feedback will explain that Amazon is responsible for this fulfillment experience, relieving you of any responsibility.
◆ If you come across any of the above scenarios, you can get in contact with Amazon to request removal of the feedback. If you happen to encounter negative feedback that is categorized on this list, consider yourself lucky that you dodged a bullet. Such instances are rare, so your goal should really be to have an impeccable seller feedback rating and great customer service. A great rating allows you to shine brighter, swaying buyers who are considering whether to buy from you or from your competitors.
