Safely Source Your Products on Alibaba

You’ve got a great idea for what you are going to sell, but here comes the next challenge: Where to source the products? Product ideas can be difficult to come by, but coming up with the idea is often less challenging than the sourcing of those products.

In recent years, many entrepreneurs look to Asia, and in particular China, for product suppliers to take advantage of the low manufacturing costs. According to Export From New Zealand, companies that manufacture in China can cut costs by 30 to 80 percent depending on the labor intensity of the product. One of the biggest and best known portals to discover Chinese manufacturers, is Alibaba.com. Founded in 1999, this Chinese e-commerce company provides sales services via web portals, and connects suppliers with buyers from all over the world.
